How can I repair/remove Internet Explorer

  bruno 19:13 08 Feb 03

I have a dual booted PC,using 98SE and Win XP pro.In add/remove programs I/E is not listed(XP).Although I do not need to repair it yet,I am curious as to how I can do it if necessary.I have the latest version installed from a PCA disc and have added the latest updates. If I reinstalled it from the disc, would I lose the updates?

Yes you would lose the updates.

As far as I know you can't remove IE from an XP installation but you can repair it by a roundabout method click here

VOG...I have printed the article for future reference.
Terrehawk...Tried your method, but it was already ticked as being there, although it is not listed. Thanks anyway.
