How can I remove this?

I just got new PC, it had AOL pre installed I removed it via control panel>add/remove but when I do a search there are still 52 files left on PC how can I get rid of them, as when I try to set up email I get an AOL window asking me to intsall the AOL software, there is no Microsoft option for my email

Is Outlook Express your e-mail program, if so this was probably installed by the AOL installation. I would think so, and to use OE you probably need the rest of the package installed to use it. What you will need to do is uninstall OE as with the rest of AOL, and then re-install OE from your windows cd through add/remove programs and Windows components.

For £4.99 buy the DVD copy of PC Advisor for June 2005 and on the DVD there is a great uninstaller.
It`s free too once registered, and I suggest the System Optimiser as well. All the best, B35
