How can I move media player library?

As media player keeps crashing I want to move some of my music to a second hard drive, but have not yet had any success. Can this easily be done?

Open My Computer and find the folder with your music files within.

Open another My Computer and arrange them side by side on the screen.
Now bring up the second HD and make a new folder naming it as you wish.

Open this new folder and copy/paste or simply drag and drop you precious music files from the first My Computer window to the new folder in the other My Computer window.

Thanks Diemmess, but I did not say that the files are in windows media player library and it will not me copy or drag and drop them

within media player identify the location of your music, look in media library songs, and have the column file path selected.
the media library is just a index of where the songs are located on your hard drive

once youve found them copy across as advised.
once copied across you will need to re index media player to the new location

sorry the click here should be this one
