I would like,if possible,to make my Freecom Classic series cd-burner into an internal one.
Having been told some time ago that it will speed up the burning process, would it be possible please to fit the unit into my ATX case?If so,how do I go about it?
There are spare bays available, also spare power plugs from my new PSU.I'm on 98SE,and have the installation floppy.
Any ideas/suggestions welcomed please,I've got some work stuff to do tonight on my pc,so apologies for any delays in answering.

Apart from doubting, depending on its construction, whether you can do what you require, a new internal CD rewriter is only around £10 to £12 these days and, even better, a DVD rewriter from £18 upwards for the very latest top brand name models.

That seems to be the very thing needed, thank you Stuartli,a trip to my local computer shop in the coming week is now planned.
Many thanks,I will now tick as resolved, and press on with the task in hand.
