I have laptop which after switching on gives a message saying this:

"Error#317 - Microsoft Windows Security Warning

Your Windows is corrupted with spyware virus. You must patch your PC urgently to protect your system. Private info is accessed by ports -8080, -3128.
You can patch your PC for free now and delete all spyware viruses.
Clcik OK to choose and download free spyware removal using AntiSPY"

First I doubt it is an official Microsoft message, and also, after starting up in Safe Mode I have scanned the hard disk with Ad-Aware Prof 6, Norton Anti-Virus, PAL Spyware Remover, Pestpatrol 4, SpywareBlaster, System Mechanic 5 Prof and they have come up with nothing.

After a while a load of porn web pages keep popping up which are hard to get rid of. Another windows tell me I have winSterHJK v.2011. How can I get rid of this nonsense?

No Id on't think it is. None of the Windows have "Windows Messenger" on them, and also Messenger is Disabled under the Admin Tools/Services.

Nope - I've tried all of the above (AdAware, Spybot and Microsoft AntiSpyware) and none of them have shifted it. The damn thing's still there.

sounds like the identical warning one gets when reinstalling a system, ( before the firewall is installed )when updating.

If you do not have a firewall I would suggest you get one ( I find Zone Alarm excelent )

As for spyware, adware, and pop ups try thisclick here

The link is a trial version which you can if you wish upgrad to full version

type msconfig in the "run" box

check under the startup tab what is running?

The error message is a con to get you to buy "Antispy" not MSantispyware which is free.

The winSterHJK v.2011 may be comming from the same program. Untick startup programs you don't recognise. see if the message stops next time you reboot.

The firewall (Norton Personal Firewall) was loaded BEFORE the internet access was put on.

I've tried unticking all suspicious programs under the StartUp tab from msconfig; I unticked perfcl and wauctlxp4 but I still get the message to buy Antispy, which I was always sure was a con.

I am getting very similar warnings appearing and have also run spyboy etc. but I cannot get Internet Explorer to connect.Other programmes will connect i.e. LIve update from Symantec and other programs that dont use I.E. Has my browser been hijacked or has something changed a setting I dont know of?
