How can I get a replacement XP recovery disk?

  Budgie100 16:00 18 Feb 03

I got a new PC (Fujitsu Siemens Scaleo 600) over 12 months ago, and it had XP Home installed, and it came with a recovery disk... somehow (dont know how) the CD is cracked and now won't work. Called Fujitsu Siemens helpline (unhelpful line!) and they told me the only option is to buy another copy of XP...that can't be right can it? I've already paid for it once, I only want the media, not another licence... any ideas folks?

Your only option is to call microsoft support.

I think the number is 0870 6010 100

I am fairly sure you wont have to buy another copy of XP.

I hope you get it sorted.
