I've got a external firewire hard drive which has two partions ,one 10GB and 5GB.How can I repartion and format the drive into one 15 GB drive.The system is Win XP PRO.

I'm afraid I don't know the answer to your question, but a more descriptive title might attract someone who does.

Connect the drive to your firewire port.

Right click my computer / manage / disk management.

Select the firewire drive and right click the the second partition. Pick delete partition.

Do the same with the first partition.

You should now have one unallocated partition.

Right click this and select new partition and follow the wizard.

right click my comuter, click manage\disc magement. delete the partitions on the drive then create one new one and format it
