Hi folks
I've got some avi files that I'd like to be able to watch on my dvd player. Can anyone tell me the best way(free)to burn/convert these avi files to vcd/vob files so that I can watch them on my standalone dvd player please?I've came across a couple of trials but they have the water mark.If anyone knows of a good free program I'd be be ever so greatful.Thanks.

Thank you.I'll give that a try in the morning.Going to kip now.I just tried Xilisoft but the "unregistered" watermark is distracting.Better than nothing though.Thanks.

As I stated in the previous thread, DVDFlic has never let me down.

I prefer to use winAVI then i use Nero to burn the dvd file. And that always works good for me.

Best way is to first convert them to Mpeg2

Woodchip - just wondered what you meant when you say convert to MPEG2, is that that the only way to play a DVD on a DVD player any way? Thanks David

Just get dvd flick as advised it does the lot authoring and burning with Imgburn and its free being converted to mpeg 2 is not enough the footage has to be authored . that way you get a proper dvd
