I have been trying to add 128Mb to the existing 128Mb in an Iridium Starbook 500 Laptop.
The existing 128Mb module was in the right hand slot, I have tried putting the new on in the left slot and putting the exsting one in the left slot and the new one in the right hand slot.
Whatever I do, the laptop only recognizes one of them. PST says 131Mb installed (the 128Mb module and the onboard 640kb).
Is there a switch or jumper that needs to be set.
BIOS just displays the memory it thinks is installed it doesn't appear to give an option to type in new values (unless I have missed something).
Any help appreciated.
