Hovering cursor results in Action

  wotbus@ 12:48 17 Dec 04

I am doing some work with a friend's laptop, and I find each time I navigate the cursor about, if it passes over a box IE OK, Next, Clear or whatever, I actions [normally you have to Click to have the action]. I recall seeing somewhere on my own pc [xp home], that it is possible to configure a "hovering" cursor to complete the action, but now I am unable to find it. The laptop has xp pro and the owner doesnt like this hover action either so I would like to switch it off. Help please, thanks.

Hi, what you need is TweakUI for WinXP (within Powertoys), this will enable you to configure the mouse hover, among other things. Cheers.
