Hello all,

I am a newcomer to photoshop7. in fact this my i had my maiden voyage tonight. i have drawn a cool looking button with a red interior. i want to use this as a link in a web page. however, when the mouse is roll over the button i want it to change colour to green.

im not sure how to do this. is it nesscesary to draw another button in photoshop?? if so do i have to do anything differently?

Thanks in advance

machow, Image Ready is part of photoshop - this program will do exactly what you want - read the documentation on Image Ready/Creating rollovers.

I first save the original file as ???button.psp.

Then go to 'Save For Web' and save as ???button.jpg.

Then go back to your original file and change the colour in the required layer/s and 'Save For Web' as ???buttonhover.jpg

Each new button just requires the text changing. I found this way a bit simpler than using Image Ready.
