I try to save any internet sites in My Favorites/Bookmarks so when they open, I am logged in.

For some reason lately, when I open Hotmail, I have to insert user name and password which I find is a pain.

Any ideas how to rectify please.

If so it may be worth clearing your Cookies and starting from fresh. Remember that clearing Cookies will mean that all your Log-in Cookies will go.

Otherwise have a look at the level of Internet Security on the Control Panel

Do you mean control panel/internet options/ security tab? if so, what do I do when I get there? custom?

I only have one account.

When I use my crap cleaner/spybot/SAS/regseeker/I assume my cookies are cleared then?

Can't you use OE to open hotmail, it will download your emails into OE, so you won't have to logon to hotmail. I use this method for last 5 years or so. David

Yoy cannot receive HM mail in OE anymore unless you pay for Hotmail

Are you saving the hotmail cookie in Ccleaner?

i have hotmail as my home page and when i open pc up i am straight in to my mailbox, the way i did it was to go into hotmail in box then copy/paste the url from the address bar at the top into home page settings in internet options.
hope this is of use.
