i was away recently and when i returned i assume my son's friends have been exploring websites. My Hotmail home page now replaces the normal picture links (eg Map pages Etc) with photyo links to porn sited - very unpleasant - especially when my aged father-in-law is watching. I have Mcafee virus scan which is auromatically updated. I went to microsoft and downloaded an updated verison of IE but that has made no difference. Anybody any suggestions
Thanks

If you are saying that your homepage has changed then in IE, Tools/Internet Options, general tab and change it back. If that doesn't work click here

They have changed my home page to i-look and i can't change it back. Whenever I reset it in Tools - internet options, it defaults back to i-look. That is a nuisance but then when I type hotmail into the address bar or go into it via Favourites, the Hotmail login screen comes up with these pictures. Once I logon to my Hotmail account, it is also throwing me out of IE on an irritatingly high number of occasions when I am trying to read my emails. I am running XP with IE 6.0. I've tried checking the settings but can't see any obvious problems. Thanks

Not only is it replacing all the adverts on the hotmail page it's also now doing it on this page - the advertin the headline banner (Time)has been replaced and so has the one in the left column

Try removing using Ad-aware click here and Spybot click here

Then get Start Page Guard click here to protect your homepage setting.

Thank you Guys/gals? Ad-aware and Spybot found loads of files etc which they removed/disinfected and my screen is much less embarrasing when my father-in-law is around. I will not select resolved yet just to see if my son and his friends manage to recreate the problem next weekend when they have unsupervised access again.
Thank you again
