Hotmail - AOL A/c's

Can someone please clarify for me, are AOL a/c’s the same as Hotmail a/c’s?

Basically, I used to communicate with someone via hotmail, we fell out, they continued to email me which I just ignored, however, now they’ve contacted me via an AOL a/c, is AOL a paid subscription or is it anonymous like hotmail?

Don't think so,

Hotmail = Microsoft.

may be someone else has your aol email and passed it on to the one youve fallen out of.

The NoNo person presumably uses your hotmail address.
If you still have the same screenname as in the past, then NoNo will have no difficulty in emailing you whichever ISP He/She uses.
