Hi Guys.

Having had minor problems with existing wireless network, I have bought a new (Netgear) router and PCI cards for the two PCs on this network.

Question - do I have to REMOVE the existing router software. I understand re disconnecting etc.

As a router isn't installed in a computer, either as software or as hardware, there shouldn't be anything to remove. A router is a network device to which computers connect regardless of operating system (Windows, Mac, Linux, Unix etc) using TCP/IP protocol.

If you intend to share files printers etc you will need to reestablish the home network in windows - no problem I assume you are you ok setting that up?
