Homepage hijack

  greywwolf 20:23 17 Jan 05

I have recently suffered a homepage hijack by something called "yoursearch.ws/?id-197". Neither AVG nor Spysubtract nor coolwebshredder could detect anything. However it has set itself as my default connection. I have configured Spysubtract to "enforce" my isp to be my default page and everything seems to be fine. What I want to know is the hijacker still on my system.
Any advice?

have you run adaware

Hi Stalion,
Yes, I do have "adaware" and it failed to detect the hijacker just like "coolwebshredder" and "spysubtract". Do you think "yoursearch" is a new varient of the notorious "coolweb" hijacker.
