Can anybody advise how I can stop the home page in IE changing even after I have changed it back using tool/options. The offending page is search-space.com.

I have tried Internet Clean up and Spy bot with no success.

I am running windows XP

Sounds like you may have been hijacked, when this happened to me I used HijackThis click here and went and posted it's results on the specialist removal forum linked from the HijackThis site. HTH TR

Can I also add that you should backup the registry before making any amendments to it. TR

OK that link didn't work either. Is this a symptom of the same problem?

None of the three "click here" links work. When I click on them the screen goes blank for a while and then returns me to this page.

Sounds like you have been hijacked badly! Copy and paste into address line of browser and remove spaces.
