Home page on IE hijacked by Microsoft update

Whenever I click on IE icon on desktop I get an opening blank page for Microsoft update and the screen then freezes and I have to resort to Cntrl-alt -delete to get out bof it.

Change the Home Page to, for example, Google in Control Panel > Internet Options > General tab, click Apply and OK to exit.

Go to the home page you want then open internet explorer then tools internet options and change your home page to the one your on.
