Home Page hijacked

In the past month I seen to have been hijacked.

The 'blank page' setting is being replaced by MSN home page. Adaware suggests the culprit lays in a registry entry which I, of course, remove. However, it returns when I restart. I imagine Zone Alarm is or has been by passed and the culprit is lying undetected somewhere or finds its way from the net on a regular basis.

Has anyone had this experience/knows how to eradicate it permanently?

Thanks guys. Did not see the other articles. Having read of others having the same problem etc things are much clearer.

In fact after trying all the usual sources I did manage to stop it by reversing the removal of the registry item by Adaware but was unsure whether it was luck and temporary or I was just storing up problems for later.
