I appear to have got an address in my home page on Internet Options and I cannot get rid of it. Every time I change it it returns the next time I access the option. The address reads:

C:\WINDOWS\secure.html

I am running Windows ME.

Any solutions

download both adaware and spybot search and destroy. click here and click here

after downloading install and update them both.

next click start/run type "msconfig"(without the ") click ok

click the "start up" tab and then untick everything listed except for your av an firewall, restart in safe mode

tap F8 while windows starts and select safe mode.

once windows starts, then run both adaware and spybot one after the other and remove all they find using the default settings.

also try click here (never used it myself) i do use spybot and adaware though.both good.
