Each time I bring up my homepage which is usually google, it has changed to a different one and in the address bar ic C:\Windows\hp.htm, I found the file in windows and deleted it but it comes back each time I log on.

Any ideas please?

Try installing browser hijack blaster. This should stop your homepage being changed. Also spyware blaster, spyware guard (programs that stop spyware getting on in the first place, and protect home page) then run Spy-bot or ad aware which should pick up the nasty that is changing the homepage.

Hi fritwash. Your computer has been hijacked by some malicious code. You should be able to recover it with one of the following.

Adaware from Lavasoft click here

Spybot Search & Destroy from click here

CoolWebShredder from click here
