Home Page

I need the advice of a Windows 2000 expert. At work, using Spyguard, I have made Google the home page for my login and also for an administrator's local login (I have access to an admin's login).

The problem is that when I start Internet Explorer, it begins to try to connect to Google but eventually displays 'Page Not Found'. If I click the Go button, it then connects successfully to Google. This problem does not happen when I login as administrator - any idea how I can fix this?

How does the PC connect to the internet?

Is it an always on connection or a dial up, also are you on a network or is it a stand alone machine?

It's always on - ISDN I think. I'm on the company network.
