Personal preference - mine is click here in IE7. I don't bother with the tabs in IE7, as I mainly use Firefox -

but using Firefox I keep three main tabs - PCA, Local Weather and my son's website click here

Its a totally personal thing - depends on your interests.

I've made my own - which is on my hard drive - which has links to all the usual sites I might want to go to when I start browsing.

You can do a simple page in Word or OpenOffice. Set up your links, then do a "Save as" to an html document.

Then set up this saved page as your home page in the normal way.

As it's on your hard drive it loads virtually instantly.
