Home Networking again

I have a Sweex USB equipped desk top acting as an access point with an Acer laptop, all 11g, all Win XP home. It does work after much setting up. But every now or then it throws a wobbly and I get a massive error that requires a reboot on the desk top. The Acer is fine. My son is just about to get his own Acer to add to the network. I was wondering about changing to wireless router and wireless printing (Canon printer). I have a broadband 'modem' working fine on PIPEX. Any recommendations for the best way forward on this? And the best equipment? Reasonable price is important. The desktop, etc is all in an office where there is space for equipment. Thanks

Derek
