Wonder if someone can help,

I have a wireless network setup for which my laptop connects to the internet through a belkin router and then my desktop PC connects by a network cable directly to the router, the internet is cable broadband with NTL, as opposed to adsl, however, how do I setup both computers to allow file sharing between the two? Did have it setup once, it stopped working and have forgot how i did it, if anyone can shed some light or point me in the right direction I would be most greatful,

Merry Xmas & Happy New Year to All,

Regards,

Rick0684!!
