Home Entertainment Package Advice

Hi there.

I currently have a seperate TV, DVD, stereo etc in the living room. I would like to buy a new hard drive up to 750 pounds with all peripherals to have my living room entertainment run from a PC.

My questions:
What is a great package deal for this? I would like CD audio, DVD, all my music on a hard drive, speaker system with great sound, a large screen TV, plug the playstation in etc.

Is a large flatscreen monitor suitable as a TV?

Thanks for any advice anyone has. I am keen to move away from individual components to one centrally controlled system of high quality.

£750 is barely enough for a 32in LCD TV/monitor itself

Thanks TomJerry,

I bought my last PC from Mesh andf for 1,200 got a lot more than any high street retailer could provide for comparable figures...I am wondering what is available in component form and what specs are needed for a good system.
