Hoax Virus jdbgmgr.exe

  Hithereto 12:47 06 Aug 03

I had a message from a good friend saying that he had accidentally sent me a virus and that I must delete it from my system.

This I went ahead and did, only to find that it is a hoax virus and could cause problems with my computer. But I don't know what.

Hope someone can help. The file that I have deleted is jdbgmgr.exe

Many thanks

Don't worry Hithereto, I did the same several months ago. No problems as evidently the file is a 'left over' one that mere mortals like us don't need anyway.

Don't worry its not a vital file.

not critical but is used by programmers.
you can simply replace it anyway (if needed) - but the majority of us don't need to!
