HMTL Email

  Air_Man 17:08 27 Feb 04

I am trying to send out an internal HTML email which utilises a background graphic, other graphics and formatted text etc. I am fine writing HTML and the like but am a bit of an ameteur in this area. Is there any way I can embed images or is it true that I have to link to them and they will be downloaded from a server. SOme of the inteneded recipients only have email and not access to any company server or the net. All users will be using Outlook 2002.

Your help would be much appreciated.

Oh, I don't want to send as an attachment - I want it to appear directly in the email.

but you must be using Rich text format for it to work.

1. Click in the body of the email where you want to place the embedded object.

2. On the 'Insert' menu, click 'Object'.

3. Click 'Create from file'.

4. Browse to select the file that you want to use.
