Hijacked e mail address

For weeks now I have been getting many unwanted e-mails from people selling viagra and other drugs,now it seems someone is using my e-mail address as I am getting hundreds of failed e-mails that I have not sent.Can anyone tell me how to stop this & how someone else can use my e-mail address.

I already run Kaspersky Internet security & spybot and have been for months but nothing was picked up.befor that I ran zone alarm.should these have not picked up any problems.

in that case it is quite likely that someone who has your e mail addy in their pc has become infected and is mailing out as you and as your address is correct it will come back to you, i used to get a hundred a day recently but it does go away in time.

I'm with Orange and this happens from time to time. You find that you get garbage letters before the @ and your correct user name. The first time it lasted for months, the last time just for a couple of days. I wish Orange would find a way to stop this.

You can use ePrompter click here can delete all your unwanted e-mails before they get to your normal e-mail provider.Just delete the ones that you dont want and the rest you will be able to open on your normal e-mail account.I think it will take up to 8 or 16 different email addresses.
