Hi, a couple of questions about OS and hard drives

Hi guys. I'm building a new pc and want to save money. Is my operating system in my SSD? If so, will I need to purchase another OS or will it be possible to install the OS in my SSD to my new PC? If so, how? Thanks a lot guys, I'm a noobie who wants to learn.

Your Op system is usually on the SSD because it works faster that way.

However if you put the SSD into a new computer it may not boot as the drivers need for the new motherboard will not be there.

Even if it does boot Windows may thenthrow a spanner in the works by not activating as unless its a retail version you are not allowed to transfer the license to a new machine.
