Hello !

First post so in advance i appreciate the help.

Well i just got a HEWLETT PACKARD DV6920EA and as soon as i started using it it began to become warm on the left hand side next to the touch pad, where you rest your left hand while typing, and obviously on the underside.
Now i know laptops do get warm, and im not talking HOT or anything, but it is slightly annoying and clammy.

I did a temperature test with speedfan i think it is called and everything seemed normal if not below average. But i assume it is the graphics card or HD warming up,but should it do it within 5 minutes of usage?

Many thanks in advance again !

Go online to the Hewlett Packard website, see if you can find a tech support email address. Let them have the details and tell them of your concern. They may be able to offer some info to put your mind at rest. If you've only just bought it new, it's best to iron out the wrinkles before the warranty expires.
