My laptop runs Win XP SP2 (don't trust SP3 yet) and once a day the application above clicks in and CPU use leaps to 100%. I have looked for a fix. According to MS support site this was fixed in SP2 so why is it still going on and can I fix it? I know I can just kill the process in Task Manager but I'd like a more permanent fix if there is one.
