Could someone please help

I am looking at setting up a wireless network at home. I currently have NTL broadband using a cable modem connected to my PC via USB. (my PC does not have a network card) I would like to set up a network for 2 PC's in different rooms using a Netgear wireless router, (WGT624) can this be done using USB adapters on both PC's or does the main PC have to be hard wired via a network card for it to work.

I am a complete novice regarding networking!

Thanks
Alex

Normally, for the initial configuration of the router it is necessary to connect to it by ethernet cable. Once it has been set up, all computers can connect to it "wirelessly". It doesn't matter which computer is used for the setting up.

Thanks for the reply mgmcc

In other words I should really install a network card first.

Thanks
