help with windows xp cd burning

  ray27 19:26 29 May 04

I am having problems with the windows xp cd-burning.

I downloaded something from the net and everything was ok
I opted to save it to the cd burner and that was ok
The balloon came up on the task bar and said there were files waiting to be written to the cd.
I clicked on the balloon and everything was ok until the very last bit of burning.
With that the computer shut down and restarted.

I can no longer get the balloon in the task bar and although everything seems to be downloaded I cannot find out were they are so that I can copy them.

How do I get the Ballon back?
Also I would like to know were do I locate the files that I know are awaiting copying?

Many thanks for any advice ,as usual

Click on My computer/then your re-writer and you should find them there waiting to be written.
