hi,i've bought a wifi enabled laptop.how do i enable my main pc for wifi.i have a broadband connection via an alcatel usb speedtouch modem.many thanks cc

Does your PC have an etehrnet connection on the motherboard?

Then I recommend you replace your existing speed touch modem with a wireless router/modem and connect it via an ethernet cable (which will almost certainly come with the hardware).

I have just purchased a D-Link DSL-604+ Wireless, 4 Port ADSL Modem & Router from e bay which works great with my laptop - setting up both on a secure net is a doddle.
