I am trying to run an IT skills tutorial programme and each time I get presented with this statement.

“16 bit Windows Subsystem

C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXEC.NT
The system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and
Microsoft Windows applications. Choose close to terminate
the application.”

How do I correct this problem so that I can run the software.

Windows XP Home, Service Pack 2, 1 Gb RAM, 1Mb cache, P4 - 3 Ghz.
