Help with problem in Outlook

Have an irritating problem in Outlook.

Some emails do not get sent, when finished composing emails and clicking send the outbox always seems to have an unsent email. Under the sent date it says "none".

I then click on forward and it automatically enters the original recipients name in the to box, click on send and it goes.

Has anybody any idea what is going on. As I said its irritating.

Seems to happen whether the email is sent from the word or excel, and composed offline.

Any help greatly appreciated.

further, I have just composed an email whilst online and its done exactly the same thing, clicked on send and it did not go, had to forward and send again

WEhen you have composed the e-mail > Send > Log on > Send/Receive > off goes the contents of you Out Box, after your AV has checked it. Of course - so don't log off too soon.
