Hi, I would really appritiate some help. I have up to £1000 to spend on a laptop. Can i please have some advis on which would be the best for my money, i'd like something that plays games well. Thanks very much, Leo

what do you want it for besides games?

Buying a desktop would get you more for your money if it's just gaming and portability isn't a real concern.

Thanks for the reply. I need a laptop because i'am gonna use it for collage so i have to be able to move it around now and then, however it doesn't have to be really light because i won't carry it about loads. What do you think about a Acer Ferrari 4005WLMi. Thanks again, Leo

I want a laptop that can play games well coz i like many computer games ya can't get on consols, (and some free periods are a little tedious) ;).

how about that one, watch tv on and it'll play most games.

wifi enabled, dvd rewriter, ddr2 ram, duo core processor. that'll meet all your needs and at 2.8kg it ain't a bad weight.

£799 leaves ya £200 to treat yourself with.
