Help with Paragon partition manager

  Jake_027 22:24 07 Apr 07

I have a 16 GB Free partition that I have created in partition manager but it will not let me format it. All the options in the menu are greyed out other than view sectors and properties, none of which do naything other than show dialogue. As the partition isn't formatted it won't show up in my computer either. Does anyone know how I can fix this? Thanks, Jake

Are you sure that you have created a partition and are not just viewing free space.
The partition type should be listed as primary, or logical, although if I remember correctly, Paragon is a little strange and lists them as logical drives.
If you have created an extended partition, it is just a container, you then need to create a logical partition within it.
If none of these ideas apply, list the properties that Paragon displays.

I have now managed to get to the stage where windows crashes with a BSOD and can't boot up at all, so I'll tick as resolved for now until I can get my laptop in a working state again

Thanks for the input
