What operating system.. Vista ? XP?
The PC with the dongle. Can you "see" the router showing anywhere as a network to connect to.
Is the router security enabled (WEP/WPA etc) and needs to have a passkey that has to be entered.

If I had an XP pc in front of lol be much easier.
Your PC has to be able to "see" available wireless networks to be able to connect to one.

Particularly read the last section "connect your computers...."

hi can u tell me were to get the network key from please

  chub_tor 20:12 16 Jul 09

The network key is set into the router by the user. If you bought your router new then no network key will have been set. If you bought it used then it will have been set by the previous owner. Most routers will allow you to delete the old key and enter a new one. To help you further it would be good to know which Belkin router you have.
