I have just install a new Epson C86 which is working fine.
But I want to uninstall the old Epson stylus Colour 440 software to clear up a bit of space, but I canot find out where to uninstall from.

Any suggestions of where to start?

Anything in add/remove programs?

Otherwise just delete the printer icon from the printers folder.

No there no reference to the old printer in add/remove.

If I just remove the epson 440 in the printers section, wont that just remove the icon and not the software?

Yes, I did not realise that it had software installed. Can you reinstall the software and then uninstall? (This may cause a problem though so best not to.)

What is in the printers folder is simply the drivers details.

What software has been installed?

Click Start, Control Panel and double-click Printers and Faxes.
Delete all the Printers available, by right-click and selecting"delete" option.

Click File menu and select Server Properties
Select the Drivers tab.
For each entry, select the entry and click Remove.

This might help

Thanks for you replies gents.

I thought I would unistall the new printer and software from add/remove to see if I could then remove the old printer.

I selected Epson Printer Software then add/remove then a window poped up asking me which software I wanted removing the C86 or the 440, well how's that for a bit of luck, so i select the 440 and now the old software has been deleted.

That shows what a dummy I am about removing old and new software.
