My son has a laptop in his room and i want him to be able to access the internet via my wireless modem - he has a belkin wireless usb network adaptor plugged into is laptop

he has installed the Belkin software the USB adapter will detect any wireless network within range. It should certainly detect your Voyager router, and your son simply needs to tell his laptop to connect.

If he looks at the system tray in the bottom right-hand corner of his screen he should see a small wireless network icon - this indicates that the USB adapter has seen your router. Tell your son to click on the icon, select your network name, and click the 'connect' button.
