I am running xp but this pas few days something is slowing my browsing down to the extent that some web sites can take 10 minutes to load, i have ran my av programme Avira and my spyware programmes Superantispyware, ad-aware, spyware terminator and ccleaner but if anything it is getting slower. can anyone point me in the right direction as to how i can go about fixing this. This is starting to really annoy me.

1) right click C:
2) click properties
3) click tools tab
4) click check now
5) then put ticks in both boxes
6) then click yes when the pop up comes up
7) reboot pc and let it finish till it reboots back into windows

May be a problem with your ISP. Start by re-booting your router / modem (power off / leave 10 minutes / power on).

Anything showing up in Task Manager, using more CPU than it should?

(System Idle with nothing else running should be showing 95-98%)
