Help With My Security Settings Please

  NotSureBoutThis 09:23 10 Mar 07

When I switched on this morning, I had this message:

When I clicked the message, I got this:

Not sure what either of those 2 are, so I rebooted, and got this:

"Home" is my network, as for "Netgear77" I have no idea what or who that belongs to, also, where did that first one go, "Chiselnet" it disapeared when I rebooted, can someone assist me please to confirm my network is secure?

Thanks in advance

You are just picking up other wireless networks in your area. If you right click the wireless icon in the notification area and select View available wireless networks you can see what is available - I can see two in addition to my own. As yours is security enabled I don't think you have anything to worry about.

Hi VoG

At first, I thought my network had been hijacked, however thanks for the reassurance.

Can I take it then, that I can click resolved on this?

"Can I take it then, that I can click resolved on this?"

As you have WPA security enabled, yes you can.
