Hi! there, Once again I require the assistance of you helpful computer specialists out there. My P.C. sound system has been working faultlessly until tonight, when I decided to copy a DVD through Nero 7 applications. On completion of the burning process, which appeared to function correctly, I placed the new DVD into my DVD ROM and attempted to play it with Window Media Player. Although I got the usual good picture, I could not get any sound. I then realized that the original DVD would not play either. I have uninstalled my motherboard sound drivers, then re-installed them again, and although I get the usual sound on start up, and closing windows etc. I can get no sound from any discs. When I go into control panel, and attempt to go into the system sounds, I get the message that my MMDriver.INF file is missing from system 32. Can anyone please tell me how to rectify this problem.
