I have an old tiny machine which i decided could do with some new ram, so..... I checked the motherboard book and it says this.... The mainboard supports a max mem size of 256mb(64 bit tech) or 512mb (128-bit tech for SDRAM) it provides two 168-pin unbuffered DIMMs sockets. It supports 8mb to 128 mb DIMM memory module.

Well i went to a comp fair and bought two 256mb PC133 ram (the machine runs at 100mhz but im sure this is ok?), but the PC wont have any of it!!! Can anyone tell me what i have done wrong??

I look forward to your help.
