help with lost drive

computer is packard bell.I connected a logitech cordless keyboard and mouse.All went well,and it may be coincidence.but my E drive is now not working.I have reconnected my old keyboard and mouse.Still nothing.Is it something simple that I have missed or is drive Kaput.Iwould be grateful for any advice

Do you mean it's not working as in 'It's a CD-ROM drive and won't play any CDs', or has it gone missing? Have a look in Device Manager.

Yes it shows but when I pressed enable,the following message appears. Windows was unable to enable this device.
