Help! I can’t delete video files in the MP4 format

Recently, I was prompted to download the latest version of Real Player. I did so and the download seemed successful. However, now I can’t delete videos in the MP4 format in my Download folder. To download videos, I use an add-on called “dwhelper” which is an add-on which works my OS, namely Mozilla Firefox. I usually download videos, watch them at a convenient time and then delete them later. Now, as I said above, I can’t delete videos in the MP4 format. When I attempt to do so, I get the following message: “Can’t delete file. Access denied. Make sure the disk is not full or write protected.” Other video files (e.g., FLV) are no problem but with the MP4 video files, I have no luck.

BTW, I attempted to “rollback” my computer to an earlier time before I downloaded the latest version of Realplayer but then my earlier version of Realplayer no longer worked properly. It simply refused to open any videos that had been originally downloaded in that format.

That’s it for now and I look forward to reading your responses.

Try this one. I've used it successfully in the past to remove 'awkward' files.
