Huawei P10 review
i have an english project to do at school where i have to find out about babies being sold on the internet can anyone get me any websites to help me out.
many thanks, Nathan
As the selling of babies on the internet is illegal, Sorry I can't help!
I would hope that no-one else would post links to such sites. And I would also hope that no school I send a son or daughter of mine to, would propose such an assignment.
click here for a good start.
Rigga - i don't think the project would be to buy or sell babies but to discuss the social implications and reasons for it happening.
I would also hope that ANY school I send a son or daughter of mine to, would propose such an assignment so they can learn why these sorts of things occur and why they are wrong, if they did ever occur.
Murder is illegal but would you stop your kids doing a project on Murder?
I'll second that opinion! the world can be an evil and corrupt place, you can't wrap siblins in cotton wool, things like this happen, you cannot just ignore them hoping they'll go away.........britsdad
PaulB2005, no I wouldn't stop them doing an assignment on murder, but I would object to the school encouraging my kids to find websites, about murder, or in this case buy babies.
Same as I have no object to kids in general knowing about child pornography, I think they need to be aware of these things. But again, I would be very dissapointed if the school wanted them to try and find sites, that presented such information.
I know murder and child pornography are extremes compared to baby selling. But I stand by my general point, plus working in the IT industry I know full well that many illegal sites, also contain more than the browser bargained for, I.e. spyware/malware/trojans etc.
I wasn't suggesting that people shouldn't post links to research sites, such as your own link, but it only takes one person to post a link to a dodgy site, and lots of members in this forum could be at risk.
I was just trying to point out that doing general searches on google etc, will often bring up sites that are not suitable, and definitely not research sites, which is why I would be dissapointed in the school.
The same could also be said with projects on Buttercups, Lambs and fluffy clouds.
Which is why children should not be left on the Internet un-supervised. Such a project would also be a good way to teach children about the dangers of the Internet and responsible surfing (or Safe Hex)
I can't see the difference with the school assigning this project or one on Country Hedgerows. Whatever you go searching for there will always be a dodgy site that comes up.
Would this have anything to do with the article that was on front of the pca webpage, about babies for sale on ebay?,it may not be but it seems a strange assingment for any school to set a pupil.
I think we're probably agreeing, mostly.. :) especially about responsible surfing, and as long as the school promotes that, then it has my vote.
and I like the ...Safe Hex, must remember that one. :)
