I recently bought a new graphics card an ATI HD 3850. when i turn the pc on i get the loading info and then the Windows screen loading but after that all i get is a blank screen the pc keeps running as if it was alright but the monitor doesnt register that there is a card.

I am guessing it is not the card as it shows images when loading so its probably my pc i have updated everything i know of what to update but am baffled by this, also i do have enough power and ram for it to run

Any one got any ideas or help would be much appreciated

Thanks

Try removing the card and re-seating it, make sure the clip is in position.

These are the System requirements ...

PCI Express 2 based PC is required with one X16 lane graphics slot available on the motherboard.

450 Watt or greater power supply with 75 Watt 6-pin PCI Express® power connector recommended (550 Watt and two 6-pin connectors for dual ATI CrossFireX™)

Have you connected Power supply as required?
